Fernan Tolentino joined the History Day board immediately after graduating from High School.  He was a participant in the competition from grades 7 through 12.  He was a Sacramento County History Day winner from 1997 through 2000.  He was a California State History Day finalist from 1997 through 1999.  And two of his projects won at National History Day in 1998 and in 1999.  He currently serves as co-coordinator of the Sacramento County History Day board.

Mr. Tolentino received a Bachelors of Arts in Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Asian American Studies from the University of California Davis in 2004.  In 2007 he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Speech and Language Pathology from the California State University, Sacramento.  He is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from California State University, Sacramento with an expected graduation date of 20
