We would like to congratulate all the History Day in California (HDC) participants. Sacramento County History Day (SCHD) is very proud of its representatives, and is happy to announce four winners at the HDC contest.

In the Senior Division Group Documentary Category, Alekya Reddy, Raheem Huseinbhal, Younghyun Kim, Jonathan Wong, and Troy Yang will represent Sacramento County at the National History Day (NHD) contest by bringing their entry, "Winston Churchill: His Finest Hour."

In the Grade Four and Five Division Poster Category, Inga Manticas and Shaina Zuber took third place in California with their entry, "Joseph McCarthy: An Infamy So Black."

In the Junior Division Group Documentary Category, Benjamin Taylor and Maxwell Fong, are alternates with their entry, "Scott Joplin: The King of Ragtime."

In the Senior Division Group Exhibit Category, Emily Gerdin, Jacqueline Zhou, and Amy Edmonds, are also alternates with their entry, "Julia Morgan."
